DSN and NDR report types
Exchange and other MTAs use DSNs (Delivery Status Notifications) and NDRs (Non Delivery Reports) to notify the sender or sending MTAs (Message Transfer Agents aka Mail Servers) about the varioius statuses of a given email message.
